We have just completed a job at the Livestock Event in Birmingham for Pfizer, using Omnitapps.
Here are some screenshots.
Last week we were at the NEC showcase which was held at the bubble inside the o2 arena with multi-touch screen manufacturer DisplayLite.
The event was attended by almost 900 people, on a very wet and windy day, but even so a major increase compared to the event a year ago at Battersea Power Station.
The setting was dark and moody, especially in the Innovation Hall where three screens resided, and in this setting the screen was king!
Touchez was able to demonstrate various apps of Omnitapps on three different DisplayLite screens, them being:
1- A 32” NEC panel with 12 TP the IRMUV321-12 which displayed Omnimarker with a floor plan of the event and photos, pdfs and videos associated with all 9 zones.
2-A 32″ NEC panel with integrated NextWindow technology with 2 TP, the OITUV321-2, with Omnirequest containing 106 pdf’s of various screens and projectors available from NEC.
3-In the Retail area a 123” interactive multi-touch (32TP) video wall overlay, the VWX4621X3-32. With 3 x 46” NEC X462UN video wall displays. Content was Omnitimeline; a timeline application with fashion photos as content.
4. The final DisplayLite unit was in the back of the Innovation area, where a 55″ NEC panel (32 TP), the OITUP551-32 which demonstrated the UrbanFlood software which is an European project investigating the use of sensors within flood embankments to support an online early warning system, real time emergency management and routine asset management.
Soho Events commissioned us to provide a multi touch solution for their new stand for The Telegraph, the first show was at The Gadget Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham last week and it will travel around the U.K. all year long.
We used Omnitapps on 3 46″ multitouch screens made by Displaylite to emulate certain aspects of The Telegraph’s IPad app, containing games and current affairs content in picture, video, pdf and website formats.
Needless to say it went down very well with the visitors tapping, dragging and dropping at The Gadget Show Live in the Birmingham N.E.C.
